HEALTHY HOMES BROCHURE COVER
This cover was inspired by the Healthy Homes logo that I had created previously. It was fun to take elemens of the logo and produce 3D looking elements for the main illustration.
TRUETOUCH COLOR CHART
Our distributors needed an accurate color chart to sell make-up. I helped create the swatches by smearing make-up before art directing the shoot. I then spent hours with the pre-press designer before going to print to ensure accurate color matches.
AD FOR REWARD TRIP
I show this in my portfolio because not only can I design nice looking flyers, I can write text as well. I came up with the headline copy myself. It came as a result of brainstorming with a writer. I love giving and coming up with great and clever ideas.
THE TREE HOUSE BOOK COVER
This is a story about a boy who grows up and goes to war. I love the contrast of figures and colors. The author decided to remove the figures and have one background color. The client is almost always right however and it still ended up being a nice cover.
THE MILLSTONE BOOK COVER
This was a case of the client knowing exactly what kind of image as well as what kind of style he wanted. Although a lot of creativity wasn't involved in the creation, I'm still very happy with how it turned out.
REVENOL BROCHURE COVER
This product is supposed to remove heavy metals from your body, hence the metal-looking cover. I have very fond memories of de-seeding grapes to get the row of seeds at the top of the spread.
CROWN DIAMOND FLAGS
The venue wouldn't allow traditional signage in their lobby. It was also open allowing natural wind to blow through the lobby. Because of these parameters, I suggested printing on sheer fabric that would be non-intrusive and gracefully flow with the wind.
CROWN DIAMOND PIN
Here is a pin I designed for the Crown event in Hawaii. O.C. Tanner produced the pins for us and each year their reps submit their favorite pins for judging. My pin was in the Top 20 of Most Beautiful Recogintion Symbols of 2008.
